Codership plans to expand in Spring, 2010 and will be looking for experienced software developer(s) to fill the position of "Jack of all trades".

His responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

System Administration:

Company services (web, mail, Trac, BuildBot, IM, etc.) and test clusters administration. Planning and building company network services, making qualified decisions about acquiring third-party services and hardware.

Web Administration:

Maintaining and building the company web-site and creating its contents.

Quality Assurance:

Establishing and executing a QA process, designing, implementing, performing and automating product tests.

Customer Relations.

Handling customer inquiries and feedback, customer support, designing and preparing software packages and product white-papers.

...and if there's still some time left, product development, of course!

Naturally, we don't expect successful candidate to be proficient in all these areas, nor to be able to handle all the work by himself. However it is easy to see that all those tasks are closely interrelated. Normally the work will consist of short-term projects focused on some of the above areas. Having said that we expect the candidate to:

• have at least 3 years experience in startup software company.
  No, Masters Degree from HUT does not count. We need experienced software developers. We don't have time or resources to coach personnel. Sorry.
• be fluent in at least 2 of C/C++, Python or PHP.
• be fluent in English.
• be experienced Linux Administrator.
• enjoy SW development, be able to work independently and be ready to master whatever is needed to accomplish a task.

Fluent Finnish, relevant work experience (databases/clustering/QA), experience in Windows system development, Scrum process - is a plus.
